With Saryg Ool Biography


The museum contains an almost complete archive of the writer: the writer’s personal library - various dictionaries of Dal, Ushakov, Ozhegov, philosophical, political, foreign words, agricultural encyclopedia, works of great Russian writers, works of Khakass, Altai, Buryat, Kazakh famous writers, books for children, books in the Tuvan language. From personal belongings and documents in the funds, his glasses, pens, documents, photographs, manuscripts are stored.

To create an exhibition, part of these things was used, including a German -made desktop and a soft chair belonging to the writer. Stepan Saryg-ool was born on November 17. In early childhood, he remained a round orphan, but at this age it was noticeable that the child was very capable and talented. This, of course, is the merit of genes transferred to the child from parents: his mother was a well -known singer in the district, and his father was a good storyteller.

In the year he was sent to study in Moscow. From the years, he studied at the Communist University of the Workers of the East Kutv, where his teacher was a linguist-plurkologist Alexander Palbach, who knew the Tuvin language. The fingers read the poems of Pushkin, Lermontov, Nekrasov, explaining their meaning in his native language for students. So Saryg-ool began to know the Russian language and poetry.

While studying at the university, Saryg-ool transferred Pushkin’s poem “Poltava”. After graduating from the university, Saryg-ool worked as the editor-in-chief of the newspaper Revane Shyna, and was in the literary circle, where they also studied the theory of Tuvan versification. Saryg-ool becomes a famous writer in the years. He, together with the writer O. Sagan-ool, wrote the film scores of two feature films “People of Blue Rivers” and “Twenty Steps to the Sun”.

He wrote hunting stories for children and made up textbooks on Tuvan literature, wrote texts for the musical works “Chechen and Belekmaa” and “Singers of the Day”. During his lifetime, Saryg-ool released 43 books. His books were also published in other languages. In total, more than 50 books were published. In the last years of his life, Stepan Saryg-ool worked on a historical work on the heroes.

He engaged in the collection of materials for this work for more than 20 years, visited all areas of Tuva, talked with a large number of people and with descendants of the participants in the uprising. This novel, unfortunately, was not completed by the author. The book "Aldan-Durgun" was subsequently published, thanks to the writer Yuri Künzegesh, to whom the wife of the writer Maria Chernousova addressed.

The writer died on May 27.
