Vladimir Guga Biography
Vladimir Guga: “Literary creativity is anesthesia” What streets did you like to walk on? Many people quite easily part with their so -called "small homeland", calmly move to other cities and Vesya. I am not able to leave Moscow and "tear myself away" from my Zyuzino for a long time, no matter how attractive other habitats are. And the point here is not in sentimental attachment, but in the fact that Zyusino for me in the era of fakes and trolling, when nothing wants to believe, is not a fake.
This is something genuine. Fortunately, Zyuzino has not yet been disfigured by landscaping and modernization, so it looks approximately the same as it looked when I went to the nursery. I loved and love to walk along the streets of Zyuzino, wearing exclusively Crimean and South Ukrainian names: Kakhovka, Odessa, Kerch, Yushun, Yalta, Kherson, Azov, Artek, Azov, etc. See what specific toponymy?
I devoted to these streets a small story “Subtropics”. Both the first and second dreams were partly embodied. And now, it seems, there is nothing to dream about ... I am a person with a passive life position. The constant changes in the world, the frequency of which progresses every day, is very nervous. Therefore, I do not see the point of buying a thing in order to throw it away and buy a new one in a year.
The same thing with dreams: probably, you need to dream of something impossible all your life. I have such a dream, but I cannot formulate it - there are not enough words and concepts. Do you have examples of such friendship? True, this mysterious phenomenon is not connected with general affairs, or with unifying interests, or with the experienced critical situations, for example, during hostilities.
Friends may be absent, or there may be "intersection" completely. Moreover, they may not communicate at all for years, not forgetting about each other. In other words, a friend is a person who is a metaphysical support for life, from which in the household plane there may be no sense. As an example, I can cite the company of guys with whom I have been drinking periodically for more than twenty years.
We gather, gain strongly, let go of the same jokes, we speak approximately on the same topics. Our meetings are held in the same scenario. More than twenty years! And I am completely happy to be with them. Someone will say that, they say, there is no need to confuse a friend and drinking companion. I’ll object: the drinking companion can be found a stone's throw from the entrance, but it is drawn to go to these guys, to hell with the Easter cakes.
So, it's not about drinking. However, now I'm in the eyeballs. Let's see what will happen to our friendship in my new position. Who was the very first reader? Firstly, this is anesthesia, a soothing non-healing spiritual wounds, excuse me for high parting; Secondly, this is a kind of “sand”, in which it is very pleasant to bury your head; And thirdly, a communicative device for communicating with those who have left dear people.
I wrote a collection of short stories “Plyush and velvet” only to please my parents sitting on the cloud. And finally, I will designate a completely indecent, executed, oak formulation: "Literature is a conversation with God." In my vision, this conversation resembles the wanders of a clockwork child who is pushing off the old eccentric grandfather and rejoices when the bearded old man jokingly threatens him with a finger and says: “I am already, a prankster!
Probably someone from the home. Or maybe he hasn't appeared yet, my first reader? Which of them has become a landmark for you? As a rule, in the top calculations you will not find anything that you will not read. I will give examples of remarkable original authors with huge talent, but who did not fall or came in a moment in the field of view of branded publishers and editions: Anton Utkin, Ivan Zorin, Elena Dolgopyat, Denis Yatsutko and Oleg Pavlov who had recently left us.
This is the realistic side of the coin called "for a huge irreparable talent." The second side of this medal is a postmodern-conceptual-Pavel Pepperstein, duet Oleg Popov-Vladimir Belobrov; The third side of the coin is surrealist - writer Igor Kornienko living in the distant city of Angarsk. I appreciate all these authors very much. But they are not at all appreciated by publishers and members of the jury of literary competitions.
Because we have a lot of writers, and the editor has to choose from this brilliant crowd of authors, guided by his personal criteria. Well, indeed, will the famous editor want to deal with an ever -dissatisfied, but very talented man -handed man? Or with an alcoholic? Or with a political opponent? He will probably give preference to a less talented, but pretty and friendly author, even if his work is clearly secondary.
By the way, the secondary product is often better sold. And this is also an important factor for the editor. And the work of the writers of brand and semi -knocked, promoted and half -crawled, for example, Roman Senchin and Dmitry Danilov, I also accept with their arms outstretched. Although they are completely different artists. In general, we have so many wonderful prose writers that the head just goes around!
Beautiful poets are no less. Another thing is that good poets were completely deafly separate, isolated both from the listener-reader and from each other. All of them are very zealously observed by their principles, such as: “With this I will not come down in one field! Watching all this is funny. Poets defend their ethical, aesthetic and political principles in such a way that, as a result of this activity, the attendance of poetic evenings has become completely insignificant.
But, nevertheless, I constantly stumble upon amazing modern poets who really delight me. Prokofiev and the Literary Institute. What have been remembered over the years of study? Who led the course at the Literary Institute? How did you remember the fellow students? Everything was: friendship, love, musical and literary discoveries, fights, alcohol and other relaxing exciting agents.
I had a master at the Literary Institute, Mikhail Petrovich Lobanov, a critic of traditional views, and soil. And in a music school and school, I accepted knowledge among the Jews. Therefore, you can imagine what porridge is now in my head. But my student, whom I taught how to play swing, blues and funk, became famous. Now he plays in the world famous rock band.
Which of the young authors should you pay attention to? Of course, they also have a lot of junk in my opinion and engagement, but still this is a compass that helps to make a choice of people already chosen by people who are called “taste”. In these magazines you can find many strong, distinctive writers - both young and middle -aged. Modern Russian literature needs the preservation of these magazines, and their editors - to expand their "between the blessing".
Or did you see in Ranevskaya, first of all, female charm? Who is she for you? And is it difficult to write about the legend?
Leonid Lukov. As you probably remember, in this film, Faina Ranevskaya played the episodic role of Taperni. This character managed to sing, smoke, chew and talk at the same time. It struck me ... Well, if you approach the topic seriously, I must say that Faina Georgievna Ranevskaya was a classic counterger, reminiscent of my Jewish ancestors of the female. Tall, angular, shy, ugly, with large features, through and through the ironic - this is a 100 % register, which is firmly digging into memory.
In the cinema, she played the supporting role and starred in episodes. The theater also did not pamper it with star exits. Nevertheless, despite her actual “secondary”, Faina Ranevskaya remained in the history of world culture. And many stars of the first row disappeared in time. Such a paradox. I conceived this book as a search for an answer to the question: “Why did Faina Georgievna leave no memories?
Why did she destroy them? She really could tell the descendants a lot of important and valuable. Having studied her life and work, I realized that the memories as a genre contradict her unique literary gift. After all, she composed aphorisms. I think these short replicas contained what the other author breds in multi -volume memoirs. It was really very difficult to write about Faina Ranevskaya, since a lot has already been written about her.
I had to make many sources. Initially, I chose a non -linear approach to biography. What does it mean? When you read this book, find out.
