In total, he created 45 works, 28 plays and cinematic concentrations, 81 translations from English to Polish were made; 52 of his works are translated into foreign languages. Almost 10 million copies of his books have been published. Matsu Skamchinsky is the initiator of the creation of the famous “Cobra” - the Polish television theater of action -packed criminal plays, he wrote one of which “ladies from Acheron” himself.

Sklimchinsky was a member of the Polish writers' partnership, the International Non-governmental Association "Rotari International", vice president of the James Joyce Foundation International Association, and with a member of the Irish Institute for the Study of the Creativity of D. He died on March 20 at the age of 77. He was buried in the Hall of Honor of the Sink Cemetery in Krakow.
