The composition entered his debut solo album "Spin" released in the year. Walter and Robin intended to offer Michael’s song for his album “Invincible”. I was completely fascinated and clearly imagined Michael's voice on this track. At that time, Walter was not sure if Michael’s song would be interested in, but, like a fan, I felt that when Michael Jackson would hear her, he would react the same way as I did.

She reminded me of the pleasure of his classic songs, like “Human Nature”. I knew that Michael would make a slaughterhouse out of it. Indeed, Michael liked the song, he was imbued with it and agreed to record Demo. There was only a small hitch: for the only time when Michael Jackson was free, Walter had already agreed with me to record the vocal to the album “Affirmation” Savage Garden.

However, Walter decided that he could record both sessions, so we flew to New York. In the mornings, I signed up with him in the Sony studio, and then, in the afternoon, he recorded Michael Jackson in the Hit Factory studio literally across the road. The version of Fall AGain given here is the only existing and generally the only time when Michael sang this song.

One attempt. He didn’t even have the opportunity to learn the song properly, but look how wonderful he coped! On the day of recording with Michael Walter, he returned to my session about 2 hours later, shining. In ardent expressions, he spoke of Michael, of his voice, about his politeness and talent. But most of all I was touched by his story that the children of Michael [Prince and Paris] were at the session, and Jackson installed a TV monitor in his cockpit to see the children with a nanny in the next room.

The session was interrupted ahead of time, because the children felt bad, and Michael, like a good father, wanted to pay attention to them. As they told me, he apologized and left the session after the first double. I did not hear the version recorded by Michael until it was from a distance after many years [although Walter knew that I was a big fan, he respected Michael Jackson and did not let me listen to demo].

But I remembered the feeling of magic from the song the first time I heard it with Vocal Robin Tick, so when it was time for me to record a solo album, I asked Walter to write together a song with the same energy. And so we wrote “Insatiable”. It is amazing to hear Michael’s demo version after so many years and be amazed at his artistry. It was because of Michael that I became a performer.

Since I saw Bad Tour M, I knew that I wanted to devote the rest of my life for the rest of my life. Listening to his albums, I learned to sing. I am so proud that years later there are traces in my career and work! And although he is no longer with us, I like to think that the little spark of the artist that he lit in me is part of his heritage. Sorry if it came out long and sentimentally, but I know that Michael fans will appreciate this story.
