On the seas, along the waves at the beginning of the labor path, he really walked a lot along the seas. Fascinated by marine romance, experiencing a craving for traveling, Andrei Nekrasov at the age of 19 replaced Moscow to a distant Murmansk, and the work of Monter in the metropolitan tram depot - to serve a sailor on a fishing vessel.

As the writer himself later recalled, the sea became his unique school of life, which gave many real stories - heroic, dramatic, curious, which later will become the basis of most of his works. He began to record the stories that the witness, as well as stories heard from the crew comrades. Such records soon got decently, and then Nekrasov dares to send them to the metropolitan magazines.

And suddenly he - surprisingly colleagues and to the joy of the most summer author - begin to print! Stories and essays from the cherished notebooks come out one after another - in Murzilka, in Pioneer and other children's magazines. At the same time, some contemporaries of Nekrasov were convinced that the prototype of Captain Vrungel can be considered the author of the “Adventures ...”, which was known in the editorial environment by the “sea wolf” and a balagur.

To print the “Adventures of Captain Vrungel” - in the form of stories in pictures - began the journal Pioneer in January of the year. These drawings of Konstantin Rotov, very popular during the years of satirist, became textbook for Nekrasov characters.But, in fact, the magazine version of the book was three times in short than the original author: he contained many cautious seizures associated with the principles of illuminating the image of the Soviet sailor and with “Japanese” motives.

In addition, some of the critics, when two years later, “Adventures ...” nevertheless came out in a separate book, predicted the work of Nekrasov by a quick oblivion, calling it “an early-gripped, difficult-to-minute phenomenon in life practice”, capable of “making only the most unpretentious reader”. Indeed, this work of Andrei Nekrasov has immortalized the author’s name, withstanding many publications during his lifetime. Several times a year! He was a member of the editorial board of several periodicals, including the literary and artistic almanac “Ocean” and the magazine “Pioneer”, which once discovered him of a millionth readership. In the declining years, jokingly, he spoke of himself as “tired of the old master”, and in the very business he drove a car, was a member of the Moscow yacht club, rode skates and repaired everything and ruled everything.
