The tombstone of the Zhoga Vladimir Artyomovich is the commander of a separate intelligence battalion of Sparta, the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces of the Donetsk People’s Republic, the Guard Colonel. After the family moved, he lived in the city of Slavyansk in the same area. After graduating from high school, he studied in absentia at a local technical school, worked with his father, who was engaged in fishing.

When, in February, the constitutional power was overthrown as a result of an armed coup in Ukraine, active protests against radical organizations of Ukrainian nationalists and right-wing radicals began in the south-east of the country, which grew into an armed confrontation in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions. The Kyiv authorities declared the protesting population of Donbass by separatists and launched a long -term and bloody “anti -terrorist” operation.

From the first days of military operations, Vladimir Zhoga joined the Slavic self -defense detachment, and in August, the Sparta battalion, which became part of the armed forces of the unrecognized Donetsk People’s Republic of the DPR. After some time, he became his deputy. He had a fighting nickname Voha. All colleagues characterized him as a courageous and fearless person.

Over the years of hostilities in the Donbass, he received many injuries, including four heavy ones. When on October 16, A. Pavlov died as a result of a terrorist act, Vladimir Zhoga headed the Sparta battalion. Since February 24, the Armed Forces of the DPR participated in the hostilities as part of a special military operation of the Russian armed forces to protect the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics.

Ukrainian nationalists opened fire on the fighters of Sparta, as a result of which the battalion commander was a mortally wound. The next day, the command of Sparta was accepted by the former chief of staff of the battalion, the father of the hero Artyom Zhog. By the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation of March 6, for the heroism and courage shown in the performance of civil debt, Zhege Vladimir Artyomovich was awarded the title of Hero of the Russian Federation posthumously.

He was buried on March 7 in Donetsk on the alley of the heroes of the Donetsk Sea cemetery. Guard Colonel Hero of the DPR awarded the DPR medals. Busts of V.
